Getting Started & Setup

What initial setup steps are required before launching my first auction?

Before launching your first auction, complete the following setup steps from your Auction+ merchant dashboard:

Configure notifications
Install the Auction+ Widget
Enable bidding redirect on the Thank You page
Display auction products in order emails
Add the Auction+ Portal to customer accounts
Add the Auction+ Portal link to the order status page
Skip order confirmation for auction bids

Once all setup steps are complete, you’re ready to create and publish live auctions.

Can I hide my normal product page while an auction is live?

Yes. The Hide Product Page Elements feature allows you to temporarily hide standard product information during an active auction, including:

Product price
Quantity selector
Add to Cart button
Product title
Product description

This helps prevent customer confusion by focusing attention on the auction experience.
